Best use of mobile I’ve seen in a while -  Nike Hijack, they get you when you buy at a competitors store and a 100% countdown starts. The quicker you run to the Nike store the more percentage will be left, which you can then redeem. Wicked!

Clever use of location tracking to tempt unfaithful customers back.

All time is all time. It does not change. It does not lend itself to warnings or explanations. It simply is. Take it moment by moment, and you will find that we are all, as I’ve said before, bugs in amber.

Lars Petter Nordhaug of Joker Bianchi gets me with a direct hit during the final stage of the Tour of Britain. Does he get extra points for that?

For your ears only…

Here’s a bit of a monster of a playlist I made, originally made as one of a series of 1GB playlists for my iPod Shuffle, and now translated into Spotify world. Several hours of fairly flowing tracks (it was better in iTunes - Spotify isn’t quite there yet with the more obscure ones) going from Animal Collective to ZZT, but not in alphabetical order.

Yeahh Love!

Meant to post about this a while ago but got sidetracked as usual, now the (my) season is over it’s a bit late for watching snowboard movies as all it does is make me want to head back to the mountains for another hit of the good stuff, but… just before we went to St Anton I picked up a copy of Onboard Magazine and it came with a free DVD - ‘Yeahh Love’.

From experience most giveaway snowboard DVDs don’t usually match up to the quality of the paid-for ones but Yeahh Love is a treat: heavy on big, bold and colourful graphics, quality cinematography, lots of quick cut editing, decent tunes and a big sense of fun which for me is what snowboarding is about. It’s also the most and best ‘designed’ snowboard movie I’ve seen, great art direction from the team at Yeahh Productions.

The trailer gives a glimpse of the quality but it doesn’t really do the movie justice so hunt down the real thing (hint… Google is your friend today) and enjoy!
